SYMBOLS: In order to simplify the tables for each fitting type, the following symbols were established:

STANDARD AND IDENTIFICATION: 
Standard for production and use EN 10242 : 1994

Identification: In accordance with the material selected for the production and the type of thread the Td fittings are identified as class "A" which means that:
1 - They are made of black heart malleable cast iron of high quality B 350 - 10.
2 - The threads are cut according to ISO 7/1, i.e. Parallel internal thread (Rp) and tapered external thread (R).
APPLICATION: All the Td fittings are adequate for the supplying of water, gas, steam and compressed air at pressure of up to 25 bar and at 120 C° temperature, or under 20 bar pressure at temperatures in the 120 C° to 300 C° range.
DIMENSIONS: All the Td fittings are manufactured to the specifications of standard EN 10242.
INSPECTION: All the Td fittings are inspected for conformity with the specifications of standard EN 10242.
MARKING: All the Td fittings, when possible, are marked with "Td" brand and/or with the nominal size Identification.
GALVANISATION: The Td fittings can be delivered - as requested by the purchaser - in black or galvanised finish. As prescribed by the standard EN 10242, the mass of zinc coating shall be not less than 500 gr/m², which corresponds to a medium layer thickness of 70 µm. Both types of finish are covered with an anti rust varnish. The surfaces of the Td fittings are free from aromatic hydrocarbons.
LEAK TEST: Applying the standard EN 10242 each individual Td fitting is subjected to a pressure test with a min. Hydrostatic pressure of 20 bar, which is equivalent to a pneumatic pressure of min. 5 bar.
