Heat Treatment
In order to obtain desired mechanical properties in castings, as per requirements of our customers, various heat-treatment methods are applied using our tunnel and batch type furnaces.
The types of heat treatments for cast irons involve stress relief, annealing, normalizing and hardening. In each of these processes, it is important to understand the materials’ response to the heat-treat process parameters (time, temperature and atmosphere).
Trakya Döküm knows the importance of heat treatment for parts used in demanding applications and has sufficient experience in this regard.
We have 6 tunnel type and 2 batch type atmosphere-controlled heat furnaces which are used to obtain the desired mechanical properties in cast parts.
